In the epitome of the service sector—where no detail is too small or demand too great—is it even possible to foster an identity in the affluent but sophisticated province of Luxury Hospitality? Well, Mr. Abhishek Sahai has made it possible.

Consistently serving the world’s elite is an exquisite art that thrives on genuine passion, not a 9-5 burden born to earn a living.

However, the badge of institutions—IIM-Lucknow, the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development, and Nolan School of Hotel Administration-NY—tells Sahai’s career in five-star hotels wasn’t an accident per se, and entirely intentional.

The leader went to perfect his craft at the helm of The Leela Palaces in Udaipur, Marriott International in Agra, DLF, and GOCO Hospitality in Thailand before leading New York YO1 Center and General Manager for Hyatt Hotels.

While his starry CV precedes him, much has undoubtedly been achieved thanks to Sahai’s wealth of insights (earned after investing twenty-five and some years in the industry), the management style he honed along, a lot of passion for the service, and the point where the three intersect.

Always up for a challenge, Sahai’s most recent (and quite evident) exposition was on times when radical letdown was surging in the world of hospitality, thanks to COVID-19. Under his regime, Hyatt Ahmedabad recovered quite well from the COVID pains—enough to secure a plethora of accolades.  

Making the most out of the properties built to provide guests with lavish, memorably opulent experiences while mindfully deploying highly trained staff members, often referred to as “hospitality artisans,” Mr. Abhishek Sahai is well versed in what makes well-heeled travelers tick.

After a thorough assessment of every article/video dedicated to Mr. Abhishek Sahai (on and off the internet), I was quite disappointed as not many have respected his bold but subtle dressing sense.

Mr. Abhishek Sahai dress-up so sprezzatura-ly that his fits are sometimes forgotten in the blizzard of his achievements. One can only hope that in the future, we might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of his dressing concepts amidst his busy timetable.
